SEARCH RESULTS FOR: Post Production

Here are our end-of-year deadlines, carefully set to ensure we can deliver your orders in time for the Holidays. Our dates are always a little cautious because everything we do is made to order, and we ship all over the world. Earlier cut offs help us manage stock requirements, queries, proofs etc. and production during the busiest season. Couriers will also be under heavy demand, so we encourage you to get in early & allow extra time for shipping. As always we always get a lot more work out post cut off, but materials sometimes do run out depending on demand, and not all requests can be met. To View More >>

Panic attacks — we all have them “My bookings are down.” “I’ve gotta cut my prices.” “I’ve gotta slash my costs.” We all have anxiety attacks, so maybe this chapter’s for you. Anxiety is worrying in advance, worrying without a plan, psychological rather than rational. And the actions you take while you’ve got the cold sweats could affect your business for a long, long To View More >>

As we reach our last workday before closing for the holidays we want to send you very sincere thanks for your support over the last year. While the pandemic itself is largely behind us — at least in the sense that people are generally back to “business as usual” — for much of the world the social and economic “hangover” is still with us. Some in our own industry are among those still feeling the after-effects, and our thoughts will be with them this Christmas. But overall our community continues to inspire us with its resilience in adapting successfully to a To View More >>

A strong online presence is essential for professional photographers looking to grow their businesses, and one of the most effective ways to do that is through blogging. “Blogging” might sound a bit old-fashioned these days, but really it just means any website or page that you update regularly. It could be about your clients, your images — or interesting stories about either of those. Regularly updating your website will not only showcase your photography skills but also boost your website's search engine rankings. To drive people to your site, earn customers and make sales. Hi Everyone, This is a quick message to let you know that New Zealand will be moving from Alert Level 4 to Alert Level 3 on Tuesday 28th April, which means we will be able to reopen production at that time, with strict guidelines to keep our staff safe. Thank you everyone for your patience over the lockdown, and special thanks to those who followed our advice and continued to send their orders in. You — and those whose work we couldn’t deliver before lockdown started — will be at the head of the line on the 28th. And if you do have orders to send, please do so as soon as you To View More >>

The four-week New Zealand COVID-19 shut-down starts 26 March. And since announcing that Queensberry's production will be on hold for the duration we’ve had lots of people asking whether Print Shop will be available. It's obviously unfortunate timing, but the short answer is yes. However, order deliveries will be delayed. Print Shop functionality will remain active in Workspace, and we encourage you to continue setting up — not just Print Shop but also, if you haven't done so yet, your standard Image Gallery shopping carts. The shut-down of person-to-person To View More >>

We designed, printed and bound a number of special edition Q-Books for AIBP (Association of International Boudoir Photographers). The books feature a collection of beautiful photographs that were part of the “2014 Best of AIBP Image Competition”. (We were 'oohing' and 'ahhing' throughout the entire product shoot). AIBP seeks to unite professional boudoir photographers globally, to share in common interests from the beauty, art, technique and business aspects of the industry. AIBP has members on six continents, and believes in recognizing amazing talent, which To View More >>

Following on from Sonya's post about loving photos, and the thought 'what would you save if your house was on fire?' I found The Burning House, a website which is absolutely devoted to that very question. The site is an invitation for anyone to post a photo and list of what possessions you'd take with you. It describes the decision as "a philosophical conflict between what's practical, valuable and sentimental". It really does give an insight to your personality, interests and priorities. Not surprisingly many of the posts include photo albums, boxes of photographs, old film and framed To View More >>
